  • Ensure all equipment that requires calibration is valid, active and zero overdue by following up with owners on the calibration status before the due date & also conducting periodic line-checks
  • Confiscation of non-compliance items upon discovery and issue E-CAR to owners for any form of violation against calibration SOP
  • Manage new calibratable equipment or instrument registrations
  • Follow up on quotation obtained from vendors, make external calibration arrangements (outsource & on-site) & verify the calibrated items
  • Analyze the performance & quality of the equipment
  • Provide guidelines & supervision on subordinate to ensure all calibration activities are well planned & conducted without non-conformance
  • Carry out external calibration laboratory annual audits & ensure vendors are accepted as per stated in the regulation
  • Coordinate with vendors on audit checklists & ensure the completion of it
  • Perform vendor ratings & publish the results in quarterly mode to vendors
  • Provide support during customer/authority audits by sharing valid calibration documents and explaining the calibration system
  • Trained on the usage of Fishbone Diagram, Why-Why, 5W and 2H, Is or is not, Flowcharts, MSA, FMEA, CP and 8Ds
  • ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Develop E-Car system to have an automated penalty issuance for overdue calibration items
  • This eliminated manual overdue tracking and email follow ups with item owners
  • Attended and completed the following trainings: Problem Solving Techniques, Calibration System, Failure Mode Effect Analysis, Measurement System Analysis, Calibration for Mechanical Instruments, Calibration - Uncertainty of Measurement, 8 Disciplines
