• Here is a summary of a few projects and events that I have worked on and the skills I have learnt from these opportunities

Kenyalang Gold Card (KGC)

• In this project, I have worked as a subordinate of SOCOE Sdn Bhd., to assist in the execution of the Kenyalang Gold Card
• This project aimed to reward and recognize the contributions of Sarawakians who have lived and worked in the state for a minimum for 30 years
• The tasks delegated to me for this event and project involved working together with other staff to collect information regarding applicants of the KGC and storing the data into the system
• Then we would determine their eligibility for the KGC and get back to them regarding their application
• Fast forward a few weeks, I was delegated with assisting in ensuring a smooth work flow for the KGC Launch Event, where more than 80 business outlets were involved with making the event such a success.

(PESB) Industry Consulting Project

• This project involved the collaboration between Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak with Perbena Emas Sdn Bhd (PESB)
• In this project, I have worked with other business degree students to effectively propose solutions to PESB who are heavily involved in the construction industry
• The challenges faced by the construction industry were hyperinflation of material prices, rising wage prices with simultaneous labour shortage, and deteriorating employee mental health.
• Our proposed solutions for these problems were the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Scrum Framework in unison to smoothen out supply chain operations, Modular Construction, career progression plans and apprenticeship programs to induce loyalty, and work culture alterations respectively.
• This project has also allowed for me to gain a deeper understanding of the construction industry, specifically its opportunities, risks and overall growth in the future.
