• Led the safe and efficient commissioning and start-up of the alkoxylation plant, utilising Enhanced Loop Reactor Technology, operating through Honeywell DCS.
• Monitor and control the ethoxylation and propoxylation reactions where ethylene oxide (EO) and propylene oxide (PO) react with alcohols or amines to produce specialty surfactants and polyether polyols, utilising advanced enhanced loop control technology to optimise reaction conditions, improve process stability, and ensure consistent product quality.
• Led the commissioning of flaker and bagging systems, overseeing equipment startup, performance testing, and process validation to ensure smooth integration with overall production, while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Acted as Activity Coordinator and Gatekeeper, bridging Production and Maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Improved energy efficiency by optimising cooling fan operation through variable speed control and scheduling, resulting in reduced electricity consumption, lower operational costs, and no compromise to process cooling requirements.

• Directed large-scale polymerisation plant operations (>60,000 MT/year), acting as overall shift authority and coordinating cross-functional teams (Production, QA/QC, HSE, Maintenance).

• “Contributed to polymerization plant expansion projects, including commissioning activities that doubled resin production capacity from 30,000 to 60,000 MT/year, enhancing output for PVC applications while optimizing metallic by-product generation.
• Conducted process data analysis and product sampling (viscosity, emulsion stability, particle size), adjusting conditions to maintain quality.
• Participated in commissioning/decommissioning of 1,3-Butadiene storage facilities, ensuring strict HSE and technical compliance.
