Key Achievements:

1. Collaborative efforts and proactive actions have contributed positively toward the successful restarting up and sustainable in operation for RFCC 1. The collaborative effort between operation and instrument have created a synergy which eased the restarting up of RFCC 1. Continuously 24 hours support by the instrument team and entertaining ad-hoc request timely without compromising the HSE aspects. This had been shown through demonstrating high level of ownership in executing below tasks, which is Main equipment start up: CO Boiler (COB), Wet Gas Compressor (WGC) and Main Air Blower (MAB) and also Restart Heat Pump Compressor (HPC) tripped within 3 hours due to steam quality header. By doing this, have positively impacted the safe and successful restart up RFCC 1.

2. Worked diligently to diagnose and resolve the trip issue by replacing the solenoid valve on 1312 UZV 9705, successfully restoring the UZV valve to operational status. Played a pivotal role in supporting the restart of the CO Boiler 2 (COB 2) FD motor turbine and the initiation of the COB 2 firing activity. By doing this, have positively impacted the following key result which is restored and improve steam margin production across the entire complex, eliminate event of steam shedding affecting other units and achieved Department of Environment (DOE) compliance at the scrubber-2 stack emission, significantly minimizing environment impact and reducing CO2 exposure to the surrounding community.

3. Identifying the root cause by successfully identified the root cause of 1311 MOV 8703, inability to operate due to a damaged piezo sensor and goggle valve unable to close. Diligent planning and preparation on performing complete preparation, planning, and ensured readiness of supporting documents and resources (SWIFT, JMS, JHA), hardware spares and external supports. Follow the governance as well to ensure safe compliance site execution. Solo run of 1311 MOV 8703 was successful after replaced damaged parts, and restored 1311 MOV 8703 to operating condition. Safe uncouple and re-coupling MOV to the goggle valve in safe condition as per SWIFT procedure. By doing this, have positively impacted the following key result which is successfully rectified the prolonged issue of the goggle valve being unable to operate during shutdown.
