  • Advised MMC Berhad, a public limited company, and acted in negotiations with the Government of Malaysia, including the drafting and preparation of a public-private partnership (PPP) agreement, for the development of agricultural infrastructure in Kedah and Perlis.
  • Advised and acted for Tabung Haji Properties Sdn. Bhd. on a RM132 million sale and purchase transaction involving twenty-seven (27) parcels of land in the state of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, including the negotiation and drafting of ancillary infrastructure agreement.
  • Advised Putrajaya Holdings Sdn. Bhd., the master developer of Malaysia’s federal administrative capital, on the revision of rental rates under a long-term concession agreement, including contractual review, financial impact assessment and preparation of negotiation materials with the Government of Malaysia.
  • Advised a construction company on build-lease-maintain-operate arrangements for the development and construction of a hotel in the state of Terengganu, Malaysia, including drafting and negotiation of project agreements.
  • Advised Alam Flora Sdn. Bhd., a concessionaire, on matters relating to a public waste management concession covering Klang Valley and the state of Pahang, Malaysia.
  • Advised and drafted for Gas Malaysia Energy Advance Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of Gas Malaysia Berhad, a public limited company, the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) contract for the construction of a gas turbine cogeneration system supplying energy to an industrial facility in Selangor.
  • Advised and drafted a joint development agreement for Gabungan AQRS Berhad, a public limited company, in connection with a mixed-use development in Selangor.
  • Advised and drafted wayleave agreements for Railway Assets Corporation, a statutory body, granting rights to telecommunications operators to install fibre-optic cables within railway reserve areas throughout the peninsular of Malaysia.
  • Advised the Single Buyer, the centralised purchaser acting as the sole contractual counterparty to independent power producers in Malaysia, and drafted a new regime of power purchase agreements, together with the associated connection agreements, to serve as the standard template for gas engine power plant projects.
  • Advised the Single Buyer, the centralised purchaser for solar independent power producers, and drafted a new solar power purchase agreement regime for Large Scale Solar 6 (LSS6), a national solar power programme in Malaysia.
  • Currently advising, acting and drafting the full suite of project, procurement and corporate agreements for a subsidiary of a public listed company in relation to the development and construction of a 100MW peaking gas power plant in Sabah, including tender documentation, tender evaluation materials, EPCC contract, operation and maintenance agreement, long-term service agreement, joint venture agreement and shareholders’ agreement.
  • Currently advising a real estate development company on the negotiation, drafting and finalisation of joint venture and project documentation in connection with the development and construction of a private hospital in Putrajaya, Malaysia.
