The Loss Prevention Supervisor acts as a liaison officer between guest and management. His duties are numerous and involve all departments in the Resort.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assisting to represents the management in attending to the Guest’s or Public’s complaint or of any occurrence of an unusual nature. It is imperative that all complaints are handled appropriately and to initiate corrective actions immediately.
• Assisting to ensure the smooth running of the security department day to day basis and to ensure that all Loss Prevention personnel are complying with the needs of the security requirements and are abiding the rules and regulations imposed.
• Assisting to cultivate and maintain a close relationship with all Resort guests, more so the VIP’s and regular guests and to ensure that they are well taken care of and to co-ordinate with all departments to maintain a high standard of guest service.
• Able to support handling all kinds of emergencies and should report to Duty Manager in the absence of Director Loss Prevention.
• To assist the Director Loss Prevention in the investigation in the event of room thefts and any other circumstances pertaining to Resort Security which might demand such action.
• To make daily rounds through all operating department. This is to increase visibility to guest and employees particularly at night.
• To assist Director of Loss Prevention to organize, direct and co-ordinates the activities of security measures in ensuring the smooth running and proper administration of the department and to carry out decisions in the absence of Director Loss Prevention.
• To supervise all Loss Prevention personnel and to ensure that all employee adhered to all policies established by the Resort. To arrange for stand-in during medical leave or absenteeism or during busy check-in / check-out.
• To assist the Director of Loss Prevention in conducting the in-house preliminary investigation/collation of information and other related matters pertaining to security.
• To identify areas of weakness and to formulate training program with the Director Loss Prevention.
• To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Loss Prevention or any other person designated by him / her.
