- Improve and implement Quality System at incoming inspection based on customer requirements.
- Improve quality system, inspection method, subordinate training, review and approve the part incoming inspection criteria as per customer requirement.
- Review the Supplier documentation report example Outgoing report, FAI report, CoC report, TAL report.
- Work with cross functional team to establish part failure related prior contacting Supplier with all relevant details.
- Coordinate, monitor and requesting Supplier RMA and corrective action request (SCAR) until closure.
- New product introduction stage (NPI) preparation- supplier readiness on FAI preparation, instruction, follow up and close all issues reported related to part, etc.
- Review and approve on ECN or Process Changes, where applicable.
- Proactively working on supplier management system that monitors supplier’s performance (supplier scorecard) in term of quality yields, initiatives corrective actions and verifies the effectively of any implemented actions.
- Perform on-site quality audits at supplier facilities as required.
- Lead cross-functional teams in resolving supplier quality issues affecting production.
- Manage resolution of customer complaints related to supplier problems.
- Work with Regional Supplier Quality Engineer and other department concerned on new supplier qualification (new supplier audit).
- Work with supplier on identifying opportunities to improve quality and productivity and bring cost reduction to company.
- Review top 10 bottom supplier list each quarter for supplier improvement and evaluate if needed for supplier qualification audit.
- Handle part quality issue and improvement including electrical part, electronic components, PCB, Plastic part (injection molded), Metal part (stamping, CNC machined, sheet metal fab).
- Assist procurement by review and approve broker buy.
- Drive the disposition of non-conforming materials in MRB area.
