• To manage and lead the entire testing and commissioning of the MEP system, from orange tag, green tag, to blue tag, which consists of 1,444 items of equipment.

Data Center Facilities Project Coordinator – Intel Malaysia PG8 and PG12, APAC Region, New Data Center Construction.

Duration: 2008-2009.

Involved in the design stage for medium-scale new data center construction in Intel Malaysia, focusing on MEP facilities setup with a requirement of 1.6 MW total capacity, approximately 1,800 m².

• Lead and align with FM Global insurance requirements for new data center design, focusing mostly on risk assessment, fire and loss risk, and ensuring that the design and construction follow local BOMBA compliance.
• Lead for MEP testing and commissioning of the Data Center, such as Genset, UPS, HVAC cooling system, fire protection and detection system, extra low voltage (CCTV, security system), BMS, and electrical from HT to LV.
• Assist with the QA/QC test plan and inspection, including material buy-off.
• Lead and coordinate the loss prevention evaluation audit with the insurance carrier FM Global and corporate risk management, and drive the closure of audit findings and recommendations.
• Lead the design team on fire protection and life safety systems to meet local code compliance (BOMBA, UBBL, and MFPA) and NFPA code, including FM Global code compliance.
