Primary Role:
Responsible for managing, issuing, maintaining, and tracking tools, equipment, and consumables used by technicians, engineers, and production teams. Ensures tool availability, calibration, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Tool Management & Inventory
• Receive, store, and issue tools, equipment, and consumables to authorized personnel.
• Maintain accurate records of tool usage, returns, and stock levels.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.
• Calibration & Maintenance
• Monitor calibration schedules and coordinate with relevant departments.
• Inspect tools for wear, damage, or malfunction before issuing.
• Tag and isolate defective tools for repair or disposal.
• Documentation & Compliance
• Update tool logs, calibration certificates, and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / AS9100 and internal audit requirements.
• Support audit readiness by maintaining organized and traceable documentation.
• Support & Coordination
• Assist technicians and engineers in locating specialized tools or equipment.
• Coordinate with purchasing for tool replenishment or new acquisitions.
• Train new staff on toolcrib procedures and safety protocols.
• Safety & Housekeeping
• Enforce proper PPE and handling procedures within the toolcrib area.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
• Dispose of expired or damaged items according to company policy.

️ Required Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, precision instruments, and calibration standards.
• Familiarity with inventory systems (manual or digital).
• Basic understanding of ISO 9001 / AS9100 requirements.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and support a fast-paced technical team.
