Responsible for portfolio of Treaty and Facultative (All Class) for South East Asia Region
• Scheduled and coordinate marketing visitation.
• Preparation of yearly production and business plan/strategies.
• Execute underwriting (new and renewal offer), correspondences and follow up with
clients/ brokers
• To do quotation for Treaty and Facultative
• Ensure all internal processes and procedures are in accordance to guidelines and
compliance.
Responsible for portfolio of Large and Specialized Risk Property (Fire & IAR), Terrorism, Energy & Power Generation Plant. (Direct business and Facultative Reinsurance)
Yearly Budget :
Property : RM 120 million net premium
Energy and Power Generation : RM 10 million net premium
• Scheduled and coordinate marketing visitation.
• Preparation of yearly production and business plan/strategies.
• Execute underwriting (new and renewal offer), correspondences and follow up with
clients/ brokers
• To prepare quotation for Fire, Terrorism, Energy and Power Generation.
• Preparation and reporting of monthly operating reports for Energy & Power Plant only
(by Monthly)
• Verification of all CAB transactions.
• Ensure all internal processes and procedures are in accordance to guidelines and
compliance.
• Authority Limit Given : RM 150 million for Property.
Developing target market for this region especially Malaysia, Indonesia and
Bangladesh.
• Scheduled meeting with clients which is consists of Insurance Company, Direct Brokers
and Reinsurance Brokers.
• Handling and monitoring all property, engineering, marine, Energy & Power Plant
portfolio.
• Coordinate market visitation.
• Preparation of yearly production and business plan/strategies.
Underwrite (new and renewal) offer for inwards facultative business from Indonesia
and Bangladesh.
• Portfolio segmentation: 60% Facultative and 40% treaty business.
• Yearly Budget: RM 25 million for Facultative and RM 25 million for Treaty
Underwriting (new and renewal offer), for inwards facultative particularly for overseas
business. (Area covered including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Cambodia,
Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Philippines).
• Handling and monitoring all property and marine portfolio.
• Yearly Budget: RM 25 million premium.
• Scheduled and coordinate marketing visitation to the country within my covered area.
• Verification of all CAB transactions.
• Ensure all internal processes and procedures are in accordance to guidelines,
compliance and ISO.
Underwrite (new and renewal offer) for overseas treaty business (proportional and
non-proportional) for all general classes.
(Area covered including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Cambodia, Vietnam,
Laos, Thailand and Philippines).
• Yearly Budget: RM 25 million for Facultative and RM 25 million for Treaty
• Portfolio segmentation: 50% Facultative and 50% treaty business.
• Scheduled and coordinate marketing visitation, correspondences and follow up with
clients
• To reconcile cedants statement of account from Finance Department
• Asses and evaluate the submission from the cedant to provide in them a special rate
with regards to the Fire and IAR policy in accordance with Section 10 of Revised Fire
Tariff
• Risk Survey – conducting survey at the risk premises
