• Perform inspection & prepare the inspection report from material receiving to delivery of equipment according to ITP, Code and Client Specification.
• Ensure fabrication item as per drawing.
• Ensure tolerance such as roundness, projection, high-low and final dimension as per Codes and Client Requirement.
• Review supplier’s material certificates.
• Ensure all WPS available in workshop.
• Conduct Welding Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) and Welder Qualification Test (WQT) as per ASME IX.
• Have knowledge on various type of welding process (SMAW,GTAW,FCAW,GMAW and SAW).
• Make sure welding activities performed by qualified welder.
• Make sure welder using the right welding consumable during fabrication.
• Perform visual inspection on weld profile prior to NDE.
• Prepare test package before FAT for pressure vessel and piping.
• Compile inspection report for Manufacturing Data Report (MDR).
• Make sure all equipment such as pressure gauge, pressure recorder, laser temperature have a valid calibration certificate before perform the inspection.
• Review NDE report and such as Dye-Penetrant Testing (DPT), Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiography Test (RT) and Phase Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT).
• Liaise with NDE company.
• Delivery inspection.
