• To organize activities effectively to achieve the goals and target set by Head of Department in line with committed work schedule.
• To ensure Ship repair works are effectively perform in accordance to Quality and HSE practices/ requirements.
• To coordinate with customer representatives on matter relative to job requirements and scope of repair work, this shall inclusive of additional work arise during course of repairs.
• To coordinate with respective functional and service provisional groups to ensure supply of requisite material, equipment, manpower and other services for the works in a timely and cost effective manner.
• To coordinate and liaise with subcontractors day-to-day job / facilities require for Ship repair works and effectively monitor day-to-day work progress to ensure compliance to customer's requirement, including works quality and safety.
• To prepare final work scope details - Work Done List which shall be reviewed by Head of Department, upon which shall be verified and certified by customer representative after job completion for costing and billing to be followed up by Estimating (Ship repair) Department.
• To assess subcontractors work performance upon completion of repair. Assessment shall inclusive of competency, quality, safety and other work related aspect.
• To prepare and compile repair close up report of each repair project assigned. Subject report shall be verified by QC and Head of Department.
• To verify subcontractor's claim on work done, upon which shall be verified by Head of Department. Cost negotiation shall only be carried out by Estimating (Ship repair) Department directly with subcontractors concerned.
• To receive and perform any other function(s) as may be assigned by Head of Department from time to time in line with Ship repair operational requirements.
• To supervise and recommend the repair job carried out by subcontractors / in house functional groups within his capacity.
• To relate matter including yard facilities deficiency, manpower competency and others this requires improvement for the attention of Head of Department.
• Prepare report/work done list after completed
• Prepare all equipment for docking airbag system and syncrolift system
• Manage outside/floating job etc technical job
• Control people and manage company budget.
• Setup new shipyard complete with slipway and dock hire

• Free from any terminated disease
• No major injuries (fracture or broken bones)
• No minor or major operation on muscles and ligament
• Normal eye sight with no color blind
• Free from hypertension (high blood pressure) and cardiac disease
• No chronic pain syndrome (muscles, ligament and tendon torn)
• Fast recovery period during muscle sprain (6 weeks) and muscle strain (few days)
