Caretaker of Haulage & Trucking Manager

• Overseeing the daily maintenance of vehicles in the fleet
• Conducting vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
• Assigning vehicle repair and maintenance duties
• Monitoring driver qualifications and training
• Inspecting loads and preventing overloading
• Keeping and transmitting complete and accurate records for each vehicle in the fleet, and for cargo transported

• Responsible for maintaining accurate logs of all transportation.
• Responsible for the preparation of appropriate and accurate logistics reports for upper management.
• Coordinating domestic and international shipments to communicate with internal and external customers and transporter to ensure on-time delivery performance.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of shipping documentation, domestic and international are completed and maintained at all the times.
• Process domestics shipments by verifying destination, route, rates, delivery times, documentation and dispatching to carries minimizing the cost.
• Correspond with customers, customers sales representative regarding availability, shipment date and method, shipment tracking data and current status.

• Liaise with shipper and follow up day to day for import and export shipment.
• Liaise with haulage for delivery arrangement and monitoring movement.
• Prepare custom form K1, K2, K3 and K8.
• Do clearance at Custom and make sure all shipment released by Custom Authority and ensure container had delivered to destination.
