- Perform Basic Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) e.g Magnetic Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), to support validation of asset integrity assessment, verify third party/contractor results compliance with Code and Standads with associated competency and proficiency.
- Coordinating and supervising basic and advance NDT (e.g Radiography, Borescope, Eddy Current, Ultrasonic Testing, Visual Testing, Phase Array UT, Long Range UT) to support pipeline, equipment and piping rectification works at site or yard.
- Witness Destructive Testing (DT) (e.g Harness, Tensile, Bend Test, Charpy), interpreting results with reference to codes and standards to support Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Welder Qualification Test (WQT).
- Witness testing on Pressure Relieving Devices (PRD) to confirm set point and to ensure valve reliability as per API 576 and API 527.
- Supervise and verify inspection on coating and painting by referring to painting and coating data sheet by manufacturers, codes and standards and manufacturers data records.
- Supervise repair/welding activity on pipeline equipment and piping by reviewing repair procedures, Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) in compliance to codes and standards, best practices and manufacturers data recors to ensure quality repair works by contractor in preventing rework and continuous defect of equipment in accordance with associated competency and proficiency i.e CSWIP 3.1.
- Lead Inspector for Joint Integrity Team (JIT) for Major shutdown and Turnaround with associated competency and proficiency i.e ECITB.
