The Domestic Safety Staff Officer is responsible for the strategic oversight, auditing, and enforcement of safety standards across all air bases under the jurisdiction of the Markas Wilayah Udara 1 (MAWILUD 1). This role ensures that all personnel, facilities, and equipment operate within the Safety Management System (SMS) framework to prevent accidents and maintain operational readiness.

• Conduct comprehensive Safety Audits at subordinate bases (e.g., Subang, Kuantan, Butterworth) to ensure adherence to RMAF and national safety protocols.
• Inspect and verify Equipment Maintenance Logs and fire safety infrastructure.
• Ensure all domestic activities comply with RMAF standards and Fire Safety Codes.
• Analyze audit findings to identify systemic risks and recommend corrective action plans.
