A senior lecturer with a PhD in Instrumentation and a strong background in electrical engineering, currently on a one-year leave from the university (from 1st September 2024 to 1st September 2025) to gain hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry. Skilled in both research and practical work, with a focus on finding innovative solutions and supporting projects through technical expertise.
During the leave, worked as a Service Engineer on the 'Yetagun' platform for a two-week period. Key tasks included performing corrosion coupon replacements, ensuring accurate monitoring of pipeline corrosion levels, and contributing to the maintenance of pipeline integrity. Holds a PhD in Instrumentation, as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Electrical & Electronics. Specializes in designing systems for monitoring pipeline flow using ultrasonic technology.
Certified with PTW Level 2 from Gulf Petroleum Myanmar (GPM), a Work at Height (WAH) certificate from NIOSH, T-BOSIET with CA-EBS, and holds a valid offshore medical fitness certification.
