Mohamed Yusoff Mohamed Taib

Started career as journalist with the New Straits Times, Kuala Lumpur as a general desk journalist and later as tourism specialist writer. Later promoted to covering international desk and later politics. Throughout the years in NST, had covered various international conferences including Apec and Asean Conferences, World Travel Marts in London and Travel Beureau in , Berlin. Was actively involved in covering international trade and politics. In local front, was involved in covering local politics and have extensive networking with politicians from both Government and Opposition. Quit NST in 1996 to join FACB Bhd as senior manager Corporate Communications and promoted as General Manager overseeing the company’s activities in Msia and Cambodia. Was later made a Director with FACB Bhd’s subsidiaries Karambunai Golf Resort and Bukit Unggul Golf and Country Club. Quit FACB in 1999 to set up Glomedia Communications Sdn Bhd, a media specialist and advertising consultant. Established Trend Matrix Sdn Bhd (F&B company) and set up development company Desa Sejati and Go Venture Sdn Bhd and served as director. The companies carried out development projects in Klang Valley and also involved in a privatisation project with DBKL. Joined Orogenic Resources Bhd as Business Development Director. Set up and served as director with PT Makindo Solusi Engineering, Jakarta Indonesia, a consultant and project management company for telecommunications projects in Indonesia. Also a director  with PT Global Spectrum Indonesia, Global Spectrum Sdn Bhd ( a trading company dealing with oil, diese, gas and coal) . Establised Safahan Trade and Services Sdn Bhd to trade palm kernel shell, wood pellet, palm acid oil and other related products. Joined Berjaya Corporation Bhd as Executive Assistant to Executive Chairman. Then served as Executive Director for Berjaya Group Bhd and Berjaya Construction Bhd.
