Cost Controller

• Budget Management & Monitoring

Oversee and manage daily budget allocations for vessels and ensuring alignment with financial goals. Regularly assess budget variances and implement corrective actions to optimize spending and maintain financial control.

• OPEX & CAPEX Reporting

Prepare and present comprehensive monthly reports to senior management, providing valuable insights into financial performance and variances from the planned budget.

• Forecasting & Business Planning

Support the preparation and forecasting of business plans and annual budgets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial objectives are aligned with broader organizational goals and strategies.

• Financial Analysis

Conduct detailed financial analysis to support budgeting and planning activities.

• Stakeholder Engagement

Work with project teams, vessel managers and buyers to ensure smooth process flow and proper documentation before releasing the budget. Ensure all data is accurately recorded and tracked in TM Master and SAP system for compliance and transparency.

• Review of Management Papers & Memos

Review and evaluate management papers and memos requesting additional budget allocations. Ensure all financial data is accurate and supports the business case for additional funds before submitting for approval by top management.

• Led and supervised audit engagements, including planning, scoping, and preparing final audit reports with proper documentation of audit evidence for manufacturing, trading, hotels, engineering, entertainment, and property investment companies
• Performed detailed testing of financial statements
• Internal auditing in certain department such as payroll (Human Resource), sales & receivable (Sales Department) and purchases & payables (Purchase Department)
• Assist client to prepare monthly payslips and liaise with respective authority for payments
• Prepare full set management account for trading, investment holding and aesthetic clinics
• Have experiences in balance sheet analysis for Shared Service company for 3 months
• Have basic knowledge in company and individual taxation - Form BE (employment income) - Form B (employment income and business income) - Form C, E and CP204 (company tax)

• Have been more focused on basic auditing (vouching & working paper)
