Key Responsibilities & Strengths

• Team Leadership: Supervise and coach a team of 6 to deliver high-quality financial operations while supporting staff growth.
• Financial Operations: Manage daily accounting functions for multiple entities—AP, AR, intercompany, and bank reconciliations.
• SAP Expertise: Leverage SAP (FI/CO) for accurate financial data entry, analysis, and reporting.
• Month-End & Reporting: Oversee timely month-end close, financial reporting, and management report submission.
• Audit & Compliance: Address audit queries and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies, implement automation, and enhance data integrity and control.
• Business Support: Provide financial insights to aid operational decisions and business reviews.

Reporting to: Audit partner and Audit director

Joined the firm as an Audit Assistant Supervisor (AAS) and held the position for one year before being promoted to Audit Supervisor in recognition of performance and contribution to the audit team.

• Possess hands-on experience in auditing Small and Medium Enterprises (“SMEs”), ensuring compliance with audit standards and regulatory requirements.
• Actively coordinated with clients and led audit teams to ensure a smooth audit process, timely completion, and adherence to reporting deadlines.
• Provided coaching and guidance to audit associates, including reviewing their work for quality and accuracy, particularly on smaller audit engagements.
• Responsible for managing firm-wide compliance matters including submission of MIA annual returns, LLP statutory filings, UC&CS, and Labuan regulatory obligations.
• Participated in corporate exercises, including Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) on both the Main Market and ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia.
• Also attached to the Business Development Division, contributing to client relationship management, proposal preparation, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Performed statutory audits and prepared financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Led audit teams for group statutory audits, including the preparation of consolidated group financial statements.
• Managed a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring timely completion of engagements and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supervised, coached, and reviewed the work of junior associates, particularly on smaller-scale audit assignments.

• Managed and prepared companies' financial statements and performed statutory audits in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Oversaw a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring quality service delivery and adherence to reporting deadlines.
• Led and coached the audit team in executing group audits, including the consolidation of financial statements.
• Handled audit administrative tasks such as client transfer processes (transfer-in/transfer-out), and coordinated audit-related submissions to company secretaries and tax agents to ensure smooth post-audit procedures.
