Project description:

• The main idea is to support health information exchange between health information systems/clinical information systems/clinical management systems and the mobile app that would be carried by the patients
• It supports multiple backends: health information system for hospitals and clinics, on patients' mobile phone and on the cloud
• This app is to be installed on the patients' smartphones and whenever the patients visit clinics, they can seamlessly exchange their medical data with the clinical management system

Job Scope:

• Validate startup idea towards sustainable Business Model
• Market Validation - Visit and interview more than 40 doctors in clinics and hospitals and create reports
• Present to the investors and do fund raising for the project
• Business Model Planning - Design and create the business model in form of presentation slides
• Conducted target market research to scope out industry competition and identify advantageous trends.
• Communicated business performance, forecasts and strategies to investors.
• Monitored key business risks and established risk management procedures.
• Transfer the problem statements and concern from doctors to the development team.

How the project founded:

• Participated University Malaya Deep Tech programme, working together with Prof Ts Dr Miss Laiha in UM to commercialise the Smart Personal Health Record
• The purpose of the grant is to bridge the funding gap from lab proof-of-concept (PoC) research to market with “validated assumptions market-ready prototype”
• RM50,000 grant is given for the 6 months program from June 2020 to March 2021
