• Implementation of departmental plans and business strategies in line with the corporate vision and mission of Indah Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd.
• Overall supervision and coordination of the organization’s operations and optimization of resources for an efficient and effective workplace.
• Departmental budgeting and the management and monitoring of annual expenditure in related sections.
• Establishment of organizational compliance and control standards for the purpose of ensuring adherence on ethical business practices at all times.
• Implementation of structured learning and development programs for all staff, including on-job training for continuous optimization of skilled resources.
• Monitoring of performance of external service providers through planned contract management and periodic performance evaluation.
• Management of the Customer Care Section through overall monitoring and supervision of resources.

• Supervision and coordination of staff and ensuring resources needed to perform work are adequate.
• Oversee billing and collections processes and streamlining related work activities when required.
• Initiate and implementation of Joint Billing with State Water Operators.
• Planning and implementation of processes within the section and analysis of existing process for potential system based automation.
• Managing collection of debts for Domestic & Commercial category of customers and meeting collection revenue targets set by management.
• Provision of analysis reports for management use.
• Analyzed and established proposed IWK new tariff based on Management’s requirement.
• Initiate, established and implementation of IWK new tariff (system readiness and billing policies).

• Supervision and coordination of staff and ensuring resources needed to perform work are adequate.
• Assist in oversee of billing and collections processes and streamlining related work activities when required.
• Managing and training of new billing assistants.
• To assist the HOS in the annual budget preparation process
• To assist in managing training of new billing assistants
• To assist in implementation of processes within the section and analysis of existing process for potential system based automation.
• To assist in managing collection of debts for Domestic category of customers and meeting collection revenue targets set by management.
• Preparation of analysis reports for management use.

Billing

• To ensure the billing run for Domestic accounts based on the billing cycle are raised on a timely basis monthly.
• To perform all the check against the billing data as per the billing check list and also other check that necessary to ensure billing is raised correctly.
• To monitor the printing of the billing data with the printing vendor to ensure that all the bills is out for postages to customers on a timely basis.
• To prepare data for debt recovery to be assigned to appointed Debt Recovery Agents (DCAs).
• To analysis the feedback data submitted by the DCA upon completion of the debt recovery assignment.
• To ensure uploading of accounts into CTOS base on the criteria set.
• To manage, monitor and delist the Domestic accounts listed in CTOS that have no outstanding on weekly basis and as at when received updates from UOs upon settlement by customer.
• Preparation of analysis reports for management use.

Database

• Ensuring completeness of the database for the purpose of billing.

• Verification of the updating and matching of data from Local Authorities, State Water Authorities, IST Site Team

• Handling of all adhoc assignments from Site Verification Team in ensuring the creation and maintenance of an accurate and comprehensive sewerage customer database for the purpose of timely and accurate billing of all sewerage in meeting revenue target established by IWK
