- Also involve in tooling design and assist in detailing all the tooling components if very tight lead time is required
- Support machining work e.g
- Milling, CNC, Grinding, Wire cut etc
- Whenever they have any question, and help to simplify machining work by changing component design
- Immediately issue drawing if machining mistake occur, so that make sure everything is not behind schedule
- Follow up with assembly site and make sure all the things exactly follow tooling design spec
- Follow up with tooling testing, and make sure the part has no any issue, e.g
- Relief missing, high burr, part feeding, and so on
- Discuss with testing people to improve tooling so that it could create a more consistent part, and ease of maintenance in future
- Involve in immediate design support for in case of die crack from production
- Deal with superior to find out any best solution with easy and faster way, in order to reduce tooling downtime and prevent any delay customer part
