Key Responsibilities:

• Focusing in demand forecasting analysis and capacity expansion by ramping up machines, optimizing workflows, layout designs, machine utilization and OEE.
• Designed up to 25 capacity modeling inclusive Die Prep, FOL (Front of Line), MOL (Mid of Line) and EOL (End of Line) processes considering machines and labour efficiencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team in capacity improvement projects at bottleneck process, resulting in a 10% increase in capacity without the need of investment.
• Conducted quarterly and weekly operational cost reduction opportunities by reducing cycle time, from 5 days to 3 days. Meanwhile, power down unutilized machines resulting in 7% utilities savings quarterly.
• Built and plan resources such as labour, machines, machine tooling, production carriers, magazines and trolleys to meet fluctuations in demand forecasts.
• Train and mentor junior engineers in Lean Principles, Time-Motion Studies and continuous improvement strategies.

• Established labour and machine standards for all processes Final Testing, Visual Mechanical, Packing and stores activity.
• Capacity installation and analysis including equipment and direct labour.
• Coordinated relocation and expansion of production plant by focusing on space utilization and streamlined process flow to reduce idling time.
• Increased 30% of packing output by separating inner and outer pack station, integrating line balancing and reduced transportation time.
• Developed OEE monitoring from customized charting system to management and customers. Improved 9.8% testers OEE by standardizing calibration setup from 100th unit to 1000th unit based on time study analysis.

• Developed line capacity and Standard Time to support New Product Implementation Team.
• Involved in designing and modification of new Jigs and Fixture fabrication for process improvement.
• Conducted line balancing and production efficiency studies. Resulted in more than 5% capacity improvement at bottleneck process.
• Performed What-If simulation to proposed effective production layout and designs by maximizing resources allocated.
