Job Title:

Technician – Lithium-Ion Battery Process (Assembly & Formation)

Key Responsibilities:

- Operated and maintained battery cell assembly machines (jelly roll insertion, tab welding, sealing port swaging machine, x-ray inspection, electrolyte filling, etc.).

- Monitored formation & aging equipment including charging/discharging cycles, ensuring cells meet safety and performance standards.

-Set up battery cells and modules in formation racks and managed automated testing systems.

- Conducted OCV (Open Circuit Voltage), DCIR (Internal Resistance), and capacity checks after formation.

-Identified and reported defective cells/modules, ensuring only qualified units moved to the next production stage. Performed equipment troubleshooting & preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

-Maintained accurate data logs and test records for traceability and quality assurance.

-Performed routine equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance

-Maintained strict safety practices when handling lithium-ion battery -chemicals and high-voltage equipment.
