TRANSFER OF TECHNOLOGY INVOLVEMENTS

  • 1997-1998: Involved in the Development, Assembly, and Testing of TiungSAT-1, a Malaysian microsatellite at Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL), UK. As an RF Engineer, I was involved in satellite integration and satellite testing, Low Sine Vibration Testing, Thermal Vacuum Testing (TVT), and EMC/Anechoic Chamber testing for the communication subsystem and antenna. Exposed to the satellite system requirements, orbital mechanics, and space policies as practiced by ESA.
  • 1995: Semi-Mobile Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) System, Pretoria, South Africa. Involved in the assembly and testing of a ground-based Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) system on a Land Rover 110, the Malaysian Army's first land mobile ELINT system. The system was deployed by EW data and intelligence gathering, and I was the commander, operator, and ELINT data analyst.
