Summary

I’m someone who didn’t just fall into HR but I grew into it. Over the past few years, I’ve built a solid foundation in human resources and administration by actually doing the work; from managing payroll and recruitment, to drafting policies, resolving team issues and setting up HR operations from scratch in a startup environment.


Right now, I’m the sole HR personnel for a tech startup expanding in Malaysia, which means I wear many hats and I handle everything from statutory compliance and employee onboarding to benefits planning and workforce strategies. I’ve learned how to balance structure with flexibility and policies with people.


I care about doing things right, but more importantly, I care about doing right by people. Whether it’s supporting a new hire’s first day, advising on performance or building a fair system from the ground up, I’m someone who believes HR should be both strategic and human.


And while I know my tools; SQL, AutoCount, Canva, ClickUp, Google Suite, I also know the value of listening, adapting and taking initiative when no playbook exists. That’s what I bring to the table.

Lead and manage all HR operations for the Malaysian entity of a Vietnam-based tech startup.


  • Handle monthly payroll using SQL and AutoCount, including leave, claims, and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS).
  • Draft and manage employment contracts, offer and confirmation letters, and other HR correspondence.
