Jackson Jeff Bayang Anak Kenneth

An engineering student presently studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) (Honors) at Curtin University on the Petronas Education Sponsorship Program (PESP). Furthermore, hands-on experience as a SuCCESS Mentor at Curtin University, dealing with special needs students, emphasizing progress tracking, well-planned scheduling, and efficient teaching techniques. In order to effectively assist students in remote area, interactive technology and a variety of instructional approaches are also used to increase student independence and participation towards the learning process. Excellent problem-solving, creative, and teamwork skills were displayed by co-developing PlantCare+, an automated plant watering system with sustainable approaches that was showcased at the STEM Showcase Competition. These skills are committed to creating accessible learning environments and applying engineering principles to real-world issues. Additionally, served as an event organizer for the STEM Community Outreach program under IMechE Curtin Malaysia at SMK Pujut.

• Assisted the programme coordinator (lecturer) in organizing and distributing certification progress reports to fellow mentors.
• Supported the lecturer during outreach sessions at SMK Pujut and SMK Merbau, helping deliver educational content to secondary school students.
• Provided clear and effective guidance to students in understanding and answering academic questions, improving their confidence and performance.
• Contributed to a positive learning environment by encouraging active participation and adapting explanations to suit different learning styles.
