• HSE Program Leadership: Develop and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems and programs in alignment with PETRONAS Technical Standards, industry best practices, and local regulations (e.g., DOSH).
• Risk and Hazard Management: Lead hazard identification, risk assessments, and incident investigations (e.g., root cause analysis), implementing effective corrective and preventive actions to maintain a proactive safety culture.
• Regulatory Compliance and Assurance: Ensure statutory compliance by developing and auditing HSE procedures, managing documentation, and liaising with regulatory bodies (e.g., DOSH, DOE) and contractors.
• Emergency Response and Preparedness: Oversee the development, implementation, and execution of comprehensive emergency response plans, including fire and HAZMAT protocols, while conducting regular drills and training.
• Training and Performance Monitoring: Drive continuous improvement by developing HSE training programs, reporting on performance metrics, and fostering a "Generative HSSE culture" to achieve zero-incident goals.

Manager, Process Engineering Section

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Optimization and Improvement: Lead the process engineering team to design, optimize, and maintain all manufacturing and industrial processes to enhance operational efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Technical Services and Support: Act as the technical authority within the Technical Services Department, providing expertise to troubleshoot, resolve, and improve complex process-related problems.
• Strategic Planning and Projects: Develop and implement engineering initiatives and strategies, oversee all engineering projects from conceptual analysis to completion, and ensure execution is within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and manage a team of process engineers, fostering their technical and professional growth while ensuring the team has the right skills to meet current and future business needs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as Production, R&D, and Projects, to streamline operations, integrate new technologies, and ensure robust and reliable long-term performance.

Manager, Process Safety Management

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) Leadership: Oversee and lead Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and risk assessments (e.g., HAZOP) to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with hazardous chemicals and processes.
• Compliance and Auditing: Ensure the organization's Process Safety Management (PSM) program aligns with regulatory standards, including conducting and managing compliance audits and inspections.
• Incident Investigation and Prevention: Lead comprehensive incident investigations (e.g., root cause analysis) to determine causes and implement corrective actions, preventing the recurrence of process-related accidents.
• Management of Change (MOC): Manage all aspects of the Management of Change process, ensuring that modifications to equipment, technology, procedures, and facilities are thoroughly reviewed to prevent new hazards.
• Culture and Training: Develop and deliver process safety training programs to enhance employee and contractor competency, promoting a proactive and disciplined process safety culture across all levels of the organization.
