Hazrul Hizam Karim

An academician in the Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities, Open University Malaysia, Dr. Hazrul Hizam Karim registered as a licensed counsellor in 2016. His research preferences are on personality, mental health, behaviour, organization counseling, and counseling theoretical orientation. He is also presently involved in research on the topic of mental health issues, stress management, implementation of Islamic Counseling, sustainability factors, and few others. As a researcher involving in numerous researches, he aspires to tap in the different area to broaden his horizon and enhance his quality of teaching and learning. Dr. Hazrul has also been invited to speak on issues on mental health and organizational relationship from various industries. In his 24 years of working experience, he also brings in 14 years of working experience in the field of occupational safety and health, and 7 years as a Human Resources personnel.

Multifaceted Senior Lecturer with Counselling degree and proven disciplinary expertise. Taught rigorous graduate-level courses at large university and earned high approval ratings from students during past year. Strong subject matter knowledge and excellent communications skills enabled achievement of optimum outcomes.
