I am honored to be chosen for the MHCC Pre Opening and set up the hotel by Tabung Haji Berhad. My responsibility as the General Manager of Movenpick Hotel & Convention Centre is to look for all aspects of operations at the hotel, day-to-day staff management and guests. Being an ambassador for the brand and hotel, I have to provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of our service culture, maximized operations and guest satisfaction. I have to work very closely with the hotel owner’s Tabung Haji Berhad and other stakeholders. My reporting lines are direct to the Board of Directors of LTH, the corporate governance of Movenpick and now also to AccorHotels as a brand owner. Responsible for managing the hotel management team (HOD's) and overall hotel targets to deliver an excellent guest experience. As a General Manager, I would also be required to manage between profitability and guest satisfaction measures.
