1) Accelerated Design Training - "Environmental Management (EMP) of Renewable Gas and Green Chemicals Production From Palm Oil Mill Effluent

(POME)"

- Carry out Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) to identify and evaluate any potential risks and hazards that might occur throughout the project.

- Use risk assessment and Leopold matrix in order to rank and assess the severity of each potential impacts.

- Perform an EMP in order to manage and monitor the impacts

- Design a Purge Treatment Unit (PTU) and Wastewater treatment system to prevent any environmental pollution.

- Study Malaysian environmental legislations and audits.

2) Advanced Environmental Field Course - " Organic Waste Composting Parameters and Its Field and Laboratory Analysis Techniques: A Review"

- Evaluating composting parameters and their respective analysis methods.

- Evaluating the environmental impacts of composting

3) Advanced Environmental Assessment - "Performing Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to Choose Best Waste Disposal Method in Malaysia"

- Used Simapro 9 software to model three different waste disposal methods via landfill in order to assess the best waste disposal method

in Malaysia

4) MSc Dissertation - "Microwave Drying of Shallot (Allium Cepa) Slices and Assessing Product Quality"

- Microwave drying shallot slices at various power outputs to assess its drying kinetics.

- Finding the effective moisture diffusivity (Deff) values for each experiment.

- Assessing the product quality (shrinkage, colour, rehydration) of the shallot slices.

• BEng (Hons) Chemical Engineering

1) Final Year Project - "An Overview of Solid Waste Management and Recycling Progress in Malaysia"

- Evaluating and assessing the current scenarios and methods of solid waste disposal in Malaysia.

- Studying the current recycling progress in Malaysia as well as analyzing the strategic plans in place for the future.
