  • Organising monthly Technical Talk Series (TTS) to all accredited universities by providing sharing sessions on latest development for accounting related areas

  • I was hired by MICPA under the designation of Project Manager of the Education Department to lead the department
  • Subsequently, promoted as Head, Department of Education in January 2019
  • The designation is designed to lead the department in managing the accounting standard and quality of the accredited programmes in various institutions and accreditation exercise for the new programmes
  • Managing the MICPA’s education pathway and masterclass of the institute’s programmes
  • Planning, strategize and counseling on candidates’ education progression
  • Managing the learning providers and marketing strategy
  • Engagement with public and private institutions, government sectors, sponsorship funders, and other collaborations
  • Managing the various types of contracts and memorandums among candidates, institutions and organizations
  • Involving in various meetings with the ministry to give input on the latest accounting standards and the accounting education framework
  • Involving in career talks and motivation sharing to all the public and private institutions
  • Secretary to the MICPA Educational Trust Fund (MICPA ETF) mainly focuses on scholarship and research grants
  • Drafting and endorsement of Standard of Procedure (SoP) for the department and human resource procedure
  • Writing staff handbook and crafting staff benefits
  • The highest achievement was to lead the new MICPA Programme in Malaysia and its implementation in 2021 and 2022.

  • I was transferred from the Faculty of Social Science, Arts and Humanities to a new Centre
  • The main purpose of transferring was to set up the standard of procedure (SoP) on administration, human resource matters, and overall operational procedure for the new Centre
  • One of the major portfolios I am holding are human resource matters for one of the divisions from the Centre which concerning 62 full-time staff and 55 part-time staff of the Division; recruitment of full-time and part-time staff of the Division; Secretary for Centre's Management Committee Meeting and Divisional Meetings; key-person for Centre’s timetabling; coordinator and liaison with Faculties pertaining to QAA, MOHE, MQA, JPA documentations, PSR audit to maintain the quality assurance; coordinator for the Centre’s website and FB Fan page; and coordinator for Centre’s events; key-person to update and setting SoP; Coordinator for UC’s examination matters; Coordinator for Barring exercises; liaison person with external party for the Centre for volunteerism projects and collaborations; etc.
