  • Spearheading the development of the East Coast Economic Region (ECER) Renewable Energy Plan and Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Strategic Plan outlining strategies and policies to encourage and boost investment in Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals (OGP), Renewable Energy (RE) and Bioeconomy clusters.
  • Formulated strategies and lead the business development activities including identification of new leads, conducting marketing and promotional activities, due diligence, facilitation and negotiation of potential investment in OGP, RE & Bioeconomy sectors in ECER
  • Successfully attracted a total of RM xx billion in committed investments from Domestic and Foreign Direct Investments including two investments in 100MW solar farms and two biogas plants in Terengganu respectively
  • Collaborated and facilitated comprehensive feasibility studies with potential investors to assess the viability and potential of OGP and RE projects within the ECER
  • Lead the team to conduct due diligence and prepare new incentives application papers and presented at National Committee of Investment (NCI) for approval (100% approval rate)
  • Drive and execute the marketing and promotion of Kerteh Biopolymer Park (KBP) and KBP SME Complex in Kerteh resulting to 95% rate of 100% rate of occupancy and 95% rate of leasing of industrial land with RM5.6 billion of realized investment.
  • Lead the engagement with State Government of Terengganu and other stakeholders such as MIDA, MITI and other government agencies
  • Served as the secretariat of the task force meeting formed to address investment-related issues, fostering collaboration and effective decision-making via Jawatankuasa Promosi & Penyelarasan Pelaburan Negeri Terengganu (JPPPT) and Mesyuarat Jawatankuasa Pelaksanaan dan Penyelarasan (ICC) ECER.
