Achievements :

• Achieved massive cost savings (averagely RM 10 mil) annually in subscription collection support cost. This was accomplished through cost price negotiations with all vendors.
• Improved customer collections resulting in debtors aging days reduced by almost 40%.
• Successful Indirect tax recovery on bad debts.

Lead a team of: 3 Finance Executive Reports to: CEO and Group Financial Controller Principal Activities : Online Media and Emerging Platform.

Areas of responsibilities :

• Ensure smooth end to end operations overall Financial spectrum and timeliness monthly, quarterly and yearly closings. This covers General Ledger, Assets, Receivable and Payable.
• Approving postings and review monthly opex against forecast and budget and prepare explanatory report. Discuss with management on monthly performance and provide recommendation on control and profitability.
• Ensure compliance of Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Financial and Management reporting in accordance with Group requirement.
• Prepare and present Exco Financial summary and KPI reports to top management of company and Group level.
• Manage cost drivers and processes to drive transparency and accountability for action by key stakeholders.
• Assist in run project profitability analysis.
• Work closely with business line operating management to fine tune accounting procedures and work with line departments in cross-functional taskforce.
• Identify and implement work flow improvements to strengthen internal controls and improve work efficiency.

• Responsible in ensuring AR (receivable) - finance module of Cruise Reservations systems are properly maintained and reliable at all times.
