Represent consultant in supervising and overseeing civil and structural engineering work.
Handle and report to a consultant on on-site engineering matters.
Inspect and guide the contractor to do work on-site based on the construction drawing and liaise/ coordinate with another department to avoid any future hacking due to discrepancies.
Coordinate the site work schedule and contractor performance within the budget and meet all the quality requirements and standards.
Establish and maintain proper site records and documentation such as construction drawings or shop drawings, as-built drawings, method statements, all drawings, and test records.
Witness and ensure all required testing have been carried out according to the specification and bill of quantity.
Make recommendations to the consultant for any design changes to the drawing design to speed up the construction work at the site.
Liaise with the owner, consultants, contractor, and sub-contractors on site matter issues.
Attend the site/ project meetings and maintain meeting minutes and records.
Resolve site technical issues.
