These refugees were from countries like Sudan, Palestine, Myanmar, Afghanistan, and many more. Developed skills in reviving E. coli in nutrient agar, extracting DNA from E. coli cells, embedding DNA in agar for PFGE analysis. Operating the PFGE instrumentation for DNA band analysis, separation, and visualization.
