Reporting ro HSE Manager, managing safety management system onboard offshore construction barges and workboats. Monitor Health & Safety aspects of construction works carried out on platforms, such as hot works, scaffolding erections, working at heights, rigging activities, heavy lifting activities, bolt tensioning and other activities assigned by clients. Project involves Hook Up & Commissioning, Tie-in, Top side Major Maintenance, Assist in shut down & start up. Client was Sarawak Shell Berhad East Malaysia, Sarawak & Sabah high seas.

Key Functions:

• Managing HSSE matters in site with regards to the activities mentioned on platforms and jackets.
• Conduct tool box meeting every morning before shift starts, and pre-job discussion prior to start works.
• Ensure SMEP (Shell Malaysia Exploration & Production) and Petra HSE plans are implemented and complied.
• Plan monthly safety committee meeting and be secretary to distribute minutes and take notes.
• Updating daily safety statistics such as ACT and safe manhours.
• Conducting PTW auditing ensure compliance.
• Monitoring daily activities regards to health & safety, enforce "stop work" when it is unsafe and situation pose a huge threat to crews or facilities.
