1. Handle the shift/trouble shooting (related to Electrics) of entire plant

2. Handle all modifications, wiring jobs, replacement of motors/coils.

3. Maintain field drawings, housekeeping and test equipment.

4. Operates switch gear of 33kV and 6.6 kV Voltage Level.

5. Carries out Planned/Predictive maintenance as per ERP issued job cards and report back on status

6. Works in the workshop as required and participates in the repair jobs of equipment

7. Follows all safety procedures and raises the work permits as necessary.

8. Follows the Log-Out and Tag-Out procedures and facilitates other department to carry out maintenance jobs

9. Will Participates in various safety drills that are conducted time to time

10. Comply with company Safety Policy and Procedures

11. To undertake any other job assigned by Immediate Supervisor or Management from time to time

1. Responsible for the maintenance of all distribution system and smooth functioning of Operation in Tatau.

2.Responsible for the work planning, scheduling and monitoring of maintenance programs of the substations and overhead lines are carry out timely and restore the system to its tiptop conditions.

3. Responsible for the work planning, scheduling and monitoring of substation maintenance, vegetation, maintenance, pole top and other contractors under his jurisdiction.

4. Responsible for the repair of all substation equipments including replacement of faulty substation equipments e.g. Switchgears, Ground mounted and platform transformers, AR and others.

5. Responsible for the repair of all overhead line equipments including replacement of faulty overhead line accessories, pole mounting transformers, ABI, ABFI and others.

6. Responsible for the repair of mains wiring including replacement of burnt/damaged/underrated mains wiring.

7. Responsible for scheduling and implementation of project for reinforcement projects such as replacement of switchgears, pillars, upgrading of transformers, upgrade o/h lines, aerial and u/g cables

8. Competent and authorized to switch up to 33kV with Class 1.

9. Performs electrical engineering tasks as required from time to time.

1. To ensure proper running of daily operation of Tatau Office.
2. To attend to complains and service call.
3. To perform HT (11 & 33 Kv) and LT System switching for projects, maintenance and breakdown restoration.
4. To patrol, conduct survey, organized and ensure all LT / HT and substation.
5. To supervise work carried out by contractors for projects and maintenance.
6. To ensure the age of debtors is within target.
7. Carry out project survey.
8. To patrol and ensure all new RES Project is within target and complies with Sarawak Energy regulation.
