Proposed an end-to-end IoT solution to enable production performance tracking for outdated manufacturing machines, addressing challenges faced by SMEs in developing countries. Designed and implemented a system with secure encryption key encapsulation and decapsulation, ensuring high-performance and secure communication in IoT environments. Demonstrated the system’s reliability through real-world deployment in a manufacturing environment, achieving 365 days of continuous operation without data loss over a wide area network (WAN).

Effective Scene Change Detection in Complex Environments, Journal Author, International Journal of Computational Vision and Robotics - Jan 2019

Proposed a novel Local Colour Difference Pattern (LCDP) descriptor for effective change detection in complex environments, addressing challenges such as dynamic backgrounds, illumination changes, and shadows. Developed a scene change detection framework based on sample consensus, integrating LCDP with a spatial model fusion mechanism to improve accuracy in dynamic scenes. Validated the approach using the CDnet benchmark dataset, demonstrating robust performance in complex environments.
