- Asses the potential internal/external damage mechanism, their likelihood and the severity to the equipment by considering material of construction, process condition and environment condition.
- Delivered quality service in developed Corrosion Management Plan (CMP) with emphasis on corrosion assessment, corrosion control and mitigation.
- Prepared/ review/ update Petronas Risk Based Inspection (PRBI) database of Petronas Chemical MTBE, defining and tagging corrosion circuits on relevant assets for submission Special Scheme of Inspection (SSI).
- Execute Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) surveillance project and reporting piping status after coating was applied as per Petronas Technical Standard (PTS).
- Experienced in full Cathodic Protection System assessment. Involved in CP inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance not limited to tank, underground piping and pipelines.
- Implemented installation of corrosion monitoring tools such as corrosion coupons and electrical resistance probe to evaluate the effectiveness and the performance of the corrosion control and mitigation programs.
- Evaluated asset long term CR, short term CR, short term average CR, long term average CR for asset risk assessment and remaining life assessment.
- Developed of Piping Circuit (PC) based on developed CG. The CG is divided into smaller manageable segment of continuous piping exposed to similar DM which are named as Piping Circuit such as big bore, small bore(NPS 2 and below), underground, normally no flow, regeneration, injection and etc.
- Supported continuous improvement and change management efforts.
