I am a final-year Biotechnology student with a strong academic foundation in microbiology, immunology, and biochemistry, complemented by hands-on lab experience gained through coursework and my final-year project. I have developed diverse sets of practical skills in PCR, gel electrophoresis, microbial culturing, and aseptic techniques. Coupled with strong organizational skills and attention to detail from my experience as a Production Team Manager, I bring a proactive attitude and a commitment to teamwork. I am seeking an internship as a Lab Technician to apply my knowledge, support quality and research objectives, and continue my professional growth. Motivated and dedicated, I am eager to contribute effectively to laboratory operations and develop my skills in a dynamic environment.

Final Year Project | Correlation of Cutibacterium acnes Phylotypes with Antibiotic Susceptibility

• Used multiplex PCR and gel electrophoresis to classify 64 clinical isolates into six phylotypes (IA1, IA2, IB, IC, II, III)
• Conducted clindamycin susceptibility testing using the E-test method
• Analyzed data using IBM SPSS (Fisher’s Exact Test) to assess correlations with acne severity
• Result: Phylotypes IA1 and IA2 were most prevalent; clindamycin resistance observed only in IA2 and IB
• Found no significant statistical correlation between phylotypes, antibiotic resistance, or acne severity
