Summary

My name is Arman Singh, and I am 24 years old. I have 1.5 years experience navigating LNG tankers (300 metres) across the pacific ocean. My primary duties include navigation, upkeeping and maintenance of all GMDSS equipments and navigation equipments, maintaining all Life Saving Appliances and Faire Fighting Appliances, carrying out life saving drills such as man overboard drills, abandon ship drills, oil pollution drills, fire drills, security drills, and grounding drills. I have acquired my Certificate of Competency Class 3 COC for Officer in charge of Navigational Watch for Vessels of 500 Gross Tonnage and Above in Unlimited Trade Voyage. I am well versed in using all navigational equipments such as Radar, AIS, Electronic Chart Display and Identification System (ECDIS), GPS and DGPS, and Echo Sounder. I am applying for a position of a trainee skipper / crew. I hope I will be of value to your company, and I am willing to undertake trainings or courses that is needed by your company to improve my skills.
