• Played an instrumental role in the divestment of the entire real estate portfolio, supporting transaction strategy and execution and ensuring seamless organisational transition and continuity under new ownership post-acquistion.
• Facilitated the negotiations of property management agreements for AMKHub and One Marina Boulevard and transition and appointment of the employees.

• Part of the core team of six ex-CapitaLand employees that established the company alongside the former CEO of CapitaLand Retail Limited, played a key role in building the business from the ground up, leading the development of its Singapore real estate platform.
• Responsible for strategic growth and acquisitions, while overseeing the execution and management of investments, including syndication of funds from investors.

Key Achievements:

• Successfully acquired and repositioned several underperforming assets through targeted asset enhancement initiatives, driving improved performance and value creation. They include Katong Mall (now known as i12 Katong), Chinatown Point, 111 Somerset, Chijmes and AXA Tower (now known as 8 Shenton Way, involved in the acquisition and initial planning stages).
• Led cross-functional team in securing the successful bid for Capitol Singapore in a Government Land Sales and drove the project through development and execution.
• Led the divestment of i12 Katong, Chinatown Point and 111 Somerset to joint venture partners, including negotiation of sale agreements and execution of transactions.

• Responsible for asset management of a regional portfolio across Australia, India and Malaysia, including asset held with joint venture partners.

Key Achievements:

• Led the enhancement and repositioning of Queen Victoria Building, a heritage building which involved navigating complex local authority and conservation requirements.

• Joined the company Leasing Manager for Liang Court, responsible for leasing strategy, execution of leasing activities and management of tenant relationships for the mall. This was during the merger and acquisition phase between DBS Land and Pidemco Land.
• Led the leasing teams in Junction 8 and Plaza Singapura, responsible for the leasing strategy and driving improved performance through asset enhancement and repositioning. This was during the corporate restructuring and listing preparation of the REIT.
• Seconded to greenfield development project (now known as VivoCity) as Development Manager. Led en-to-end leasing function, including early-stage retail planning and positioning, establishing leasing documentation frameworks, securing tenants and overseeing execution through to opening of the mall.
• Returned to the business in October 2006 as Head, Leasing overseeing the leasing function of all malls in Singapore, responsible for identifying asset enhancement opportunities alongside the Asset Managers and leading repositioning strategies including trade mix optimisation to drive performance.

• Successfully executed targeted asset enhancement initiatives and repositioning, driving improved performance and value creation for Junction 8 and Plaza Singapura.
• Successfully completed the development of VivoCity, opening the mall with full occupancy and securing at least 50% new-to-market concepts and brands from overseas.
