• Engineered and executed laboratory-scale tunnel modeling experiments using advanced transparent soil surrogates (fused quartz, silica gel, white mineral oil) to investigate ground deformation mechanisms and structure-soil interaction under controlled loading conditions in multiple layer of soil.
• Applied cutting-edge Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) techniques for high-resolution monitoring and quantitative analysis of soil displacement, successfully capturing real-time failure patterns and settlement profiles during tunnel excavation.
• Led calibration, data processing, and validation efforts by integrating experimental results with numerical simulations (Rocscience RS2, RS3), contributing to peer-reviewed publications and advancing methodologies in geotechnical tunnel research.

• Conducted research on structural health assessment of tunnel lining as part of master studies by working on a Malaysian national highway project at Perak (Ipoh) on Meru-Menora Tunnel in collaboration with Projec Labuhraya Usahasama Berhad (PLUS).
• Reviewed and summarized tunnel technical reports, standard guidelines and relevant literature to plan, organize and supervise inspection work.
• Coordinated in planing, organizing and performing series of inspection comprising visual and technical inspection in Menora tunnel by liaising with sub-contractors and tunnel administrators.
• Helped sub-contractors in performing technical inspection in tunnel comprising destructive and non-destructive test such as electrical resistivity, rebound hammer and pulse velocity test.
• Assisted supervisor in gathering and analyzing data and preparing comprehensive report on tunnel lining structural health and further suggested respective maintenance work.
• Liaised with Malaysian survey department to gather information such as Topographic Map of Ipoh.
• Collected, prepared and tested wide range of material core samples in structural and geotech Lab.
• Performed numerical modeling using Rocscienc (RS2, Rocdata) and Arc-GIS software to draw conclusion.

• Supervised drilling and blasting operations.
• Liaising with survey personnel regarding drilling and blasting location prior blasting.
• Prepare schedule, reports and estimating production involved in development of structure and roads.
• Optimizing blast parameter and design with various conditions encountered during blasting activity in accordance with HSE protocols.
• Manage inventory of explosives and reporting to Govt.
• Work in close coordination with management to streamline blasting related scheduling, budgeting and working procedures while ensuring compliance to OSHA issued workplace safety guidelines.

Key Accomplishment : Devised and implemented a method to control ground vibration, which was producing cracks in civil structures such as weir and water tunnels, by introducing safe charge weight per delay (MIC) for different ages of green concrete through proper use of delays.

• Worked as blasting engineer at Pakistan's NHA's project.
• Execute drilling and blasting as per method statement.
• Continuous coordination with health safety executives (HSE) to ensure safe drilling and blasting activities.
• Supervised selecting, developing extraction method and involved in major earth work.
