Extra Curricular Activities
I participated for the M100 challenge on September 2018. Employers from different huge corporations come together in this event to give a set of unique challenges to us to test our soft skills like team building, communications skills and critical thinking. This annual event is organize by Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus where participants from different faculty compete with each other in different sports. Although I am not a member of this club, I tend to go for Frisbee whenever they are playing because it is open to the public free of charge. I have been attending this club for quite some time and it is a good time for me to think outside the box on which move is the best to proceed, at the same time making new friends as I sometimes might be facing off random strangers. Toastmasters is a nonprofit organization that strives to improve communication skills and boost a person's self-confidence through public speaking. I have attended Taylor’s Toastmaster's club for almost a year and I have gained valuable knowledge and experience through this club.

Virtual Business Program | X-Culture In my final year of university at UWE, I got the opportunity to participate in the X-Culture project, which is a large-scale worldwide collaboration designed to provide students with a one-of-a-kind chance to work on real-world business projects with multinational corporations. The project brings together students from various universities and countries to collaborate on complex business problems in virtual teams. The objective is to build abilities in cross-cultural communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and project management while offering new solutions to the business challenges faced by enterprises. Four other international participants and I collaborated for three months to complete a consulting project for our client. We were judged by Professors and industry professionals recognized by X-Culture, and it is with great pride and honor that we were named top (Top 25%) out of over 1000+ virtual teams worldwide. With my participation in the X-Culture challenge, I was able to gain skills that I can utilize in my future business interactions, as well as a broader awareness of various cultural viewpoints that will enable me to be an effective and sympathetic team player on any team I join.
