• Lead, supervise, plan and control the overall operations and activities of the loan documentation team;
• Perform overall credit administration documentation functions and supervision for Commercial, Middle Market and Corporate customer for the assigned Business Centre Portfolios;
• Review legal and security documents in accordance with credit approved terms;
• Review the Bank’s issuance of the Letter(s) of Offer, Redemption Letter(s) and other related documentation matter;
• Ensure completeness of the Bank’s safe-keeping of the Security Documents and update collateral information in Bank's system;
• Initiates and adopt improvement in policies, procedures, guidelines and standards to ensure accuracy of prudent practice in the unit without operation lapses;
• Monitor internal controls to ensure their adequacy in the unit so that corrective action can be taken, when necessary, at the earliest possible time;
• Prepare and review statistical and escalation reports;
• Review and improve end to end processes of the team when necessary;
• Perform the role of Department’s Compliance Officer and abide to the requirements of Bank Negara Malaysia and Bank of Thailand regulatory requirement when needed.
• Lead the Bank's Syndication Loan & Financing with Facility Agent with other Financial Institution and engagement with relevant Stakeholders;
• Liaise with external legal counsel, business units, credit partners and relevant authorities on the documentation process if required;
• Responsible to provide customer data for data maintenance purposes in various systems and reports.
• Review Security Documents for the Bank’s Power of Attorney execution, and other related documentation;
• Update of collateral maintenance, facility limit, annual review in the system in day-to-day operation in timely and accurate manner;
• Perform the role of Department’s Business Continuity Management (“BCM”) Champion and coordinate the department BCM requirement;
• Participate in projects and user acceptance testing undertaken by the Department when required;
• Authorize credit limits and ensuring accurate detailing before inputting the same into the Bank’s system; and
• Maintaining and reviewing the credit limits periodically and at every annual review dates in the systems.
