  • Lead preparation of memoranda, tender specifications, and cost-benefit analyses for new diagnostic equipment, aligning procurement with corporate priorities.
  • Coordinate with Sales team to effectively position solutions for tenders and generator overhaul projects, guaranteeing alignment with design standards, schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
  • Provide appropriate solutions to emergent technical issues arising during generator inspection, electrical testing or repair activities.

  • To communicate with customer, Power Station Engineers and TNB REMACO Engineers to ensure testing jobs been carried out efficiently and smoothly.
  • Supporting the Sales teams through the tendering phase of the new business and any Generator overhaul with design standards/ practices/ internal processes, and be on-time in fulfilling program objectives, schedules, cost and quality requirements.
  • Create Purchase Request (PR) in SAP system to include expected cost in the project before issuance of Purchase Order (PO) by procurement unit. Prepare financial year budget (CAPEX & OPEX) for Electrical Diagnostics section.
  • Support Technical Services team including activities such as customer issue resolution, fleet issues, service bulletin implementation, Monitoring & Diagnostics, fleet configuration, maintenance of fleet data, outage management.
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with the engineering processes.
  • Handle test equipment’s at site and perform electrical tests such as online partial discharges, offline partial discharges, and Tan delta, Recurrent Surge Oscilograph (RSO), Electromagnetic Leakage Core Imperfection Detector (ELCID) Test and Insulation Resistance & Polarization Index (IRPI).
