Abdelwahab Mohamed Badawi

A mechanical engineering student with a strong passion for the field and a wealth of theoretical and practical experience in engineering principles. Experience as a junior mechanic has allowed for the development of technical skills in machinery repair and maintenance, working collaboratively with a team to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Furthermore, working in a sales engineering role has highlighted exceptional communication abilities, with the capacity to identify and satisfy customer requirements. Undertaking several projects throughout university has also improved problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities. Overall, a motivated and dedicated individual eager to apply engineering skills and knowledge to an internship opportunity, offering a strong work ethic and the willingness to learn and develop further.

• CAE project: Designed a bicycle and ran simulations to determine the critical point in the design based on stress analysis. (Creo)
• Engineering Graphics and Design Project: Designed and assembled via CREO a model of a classic ferrari car from the 80s, made of more than 130 assembled components.
• Theory Of Machines Project: Designed and studied the mobility of a weed puller to be used in the agriculture industry. (creo, excel, word, ppt)
• Machine Design Project: Designed a bicycle and ran simulations to determine the critical point in the design based on stress analysis. In addition, studied the deformation of a rigid bar under axial and torsional stresses. (Ansys)
• Engineering Instrumentation Project: came up with a measuring device to digitally measure strain in a given sample. (word, DIY prototype)

• Worked with a team of 5 members to achieve the best Engineering Graphics and Design project amongst the batch of 2020 in my 1st year.
• Got my first podium in a national cycling race in egypt in 2021.
• Became the Head of Public Relations for the International Students Society in UNITEN in 2022.
• Successfully conducted the biggest on-campus event in 2022 in UNITEN as Program Director, World Cup Fan-zone.
• Used Microsoft Excel to develop spreadsheets to track Social Media leads.

• Parliamentarians For Al-Aqsa 2020: Official translator and senior protocol volunteer.
• UNITEN Care & Share 5.0 2021: Organizing committee.
• UNICEF Flood Relief Aid 2022: Food & supplies distribution and clean up efforts.
